شركاء المركز الطبي للجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية – مستشفى رزق يتعاونون مع MYSCHOOLPULSE (MSP) لمنح الأطفال في المستشفيات إمكانية التعلّم أثناء العلاج

بيروت ، 12 أيار 2022: من خلال رؤية مشتركة مفادها أن جميع الأطفال يستحقون الحصول على التعليم، تضافرت جهود المركز الطبي للجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية – مستشفى رزق والجمعية غير الحكومية Myschoolpulse (MSP) لضمان حصول الأطفال في المستشفيات على البرامج المدرسية.

تم توقيع الشراكة في 11 أيّار بحضور كلّ من  السيد سامي رزق الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الطبي للجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية – مستشفى رزق ، والدكتور جيرارد واكيم ، رئيس قسم طب الأطفال والسيدة لارا حاج، والسيد سعد الزين، مساعد رئيس الجامعة للمشاريع الخاصة، والسيدة أ. لارا حاج نائبة مدير Myschoolpulse (MSP) ومنال أبي عبد الله ، مديرة مدرسة Myschoolpulse (MSP).

Myschoolpulse (MSP) هي منظمة لبنانية غير ربحية مسجلة، تعمل على جلب المدارس إلى المستشفيات لمساعدة الأطفال الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4 و 18 سنة، والذين يعانون من أمراض مزمنة، ولا يمكنهم الإلتحاق بالمدرسة بشكل عاديّ.

تتمثل مهمة المركز الطبي للجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية – مستشفى رزق، في الطب بإنسانيّة، وقد سمح هذا التعاون للمستشفى الجامعي أن يقدّم للمرضى الصغار بعض مظاهر الحياة الطبيعية من خلال منحهم إمكانية الوصول إلى التعليم والدعم النفسي.

تعمل Myschoolpulse (MSP) بتعاونٍ وثيق مع القطاع العام لضمان اتباع المنهج الأكاديمي الرسمي حتى يتمكن الأطفال من متابعة فصولهم الدراسية بسلاسة بعد العلاج. تقوم هذه المنظمة غير الحكومية حاليًا بتدريس أكثر من 100 طفل في 5 مستشفيات رئيسية في لبنان. منذ تأسيسها عام 2010 ، قدّمت Myschoolpulse (MSP) حصص تعليميّة لما مجموعه 690 طفلاً، مما يساوي 00035 ساعة من التدريس.

LAU MEDICAL CENTER- RIZK HOSPITAL PARTNERS WITH MYSCHOOLPULSE (MSP) TO GIVE HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN ACCESS TO EDUCATION

   With a shared vision that all children deserve access to education, the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital and Myschoolpulse(MSP) NGO have joined forces to ensure that hospitalized children have access to school programs. The partnership was signed on May 11^th in the presence of Mr. Sami Rizk CEO LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, Dr. Gerard Wakim, Chair of department of Pediatrics, Mr. Saad El Zein, Assistant to the President for Special Projects, and Mrs. Lara Hage, MySchoolPulse (MSP) deputy manager and Manal Abi Abdallah, MySchoolPulse (MSP) director

Myschoolpulse (MSP)  is a Lebanese registered non-profit organization that brings schools to hospitals for children between the ages of 4 and 18, who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses, and cannot attend regular school.

The mission of LAU Medical Center Rizk Hospital is to heal with compassion and this collaboration allows the university hospital to give its youngest patients some semblance of a normal life by giving them access to education and psychological support

Myschoolpulse (MSP) works in close collaboration with the public sector to ensure that the official academic curriculum is followed so that the children can seamlessly rejoin their classes following their treatment. The NGO is currently schooling more than 100 children across 5 major hospitals in Lebanon. Since its inception in 2010, the organization has provided tutorship to a total of 690 children, which comes up to 35,000 hours of tutorship
