The Lebanese Francophone Association of Technical Sciences pays tribute to the Arab thinker Talal Abu-Ghazaleh

The Lebanese Francophone Association of Technical Sciences, represented by the Director General, Mrs. Noura Merhabi, and the Director of Public Relations, Mrs. Aida Merhabi Kabbara, honored Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh at the Al-Hajj Ali Restaurant in Tripoli for his contributions to the development of the Northern Region in terms of digital and technical and innovative knowledge.The honorary ceremony took place in the presence of Professor Ali Kanj representing the Rector of the Lebanese University, Professor Bassam Badran, Dr. Rabih Baalbaki, President of the Union of Education Technology in Lebanon, Dr. Bassem Bakhash, Head of the Committee of Culture and Education in the Municipality of Tripoli, Mr. Radwan Shoaib, President of the National Commission for Science and Research, Dr. Mustafa El Helweh, Dr. Samira Baghdadi, Dr. Bilal Barakeh and Dr. Nadim Mansouri of the External Relations Office of the Lebanese University, Mr. Ziad Monzer, Dr. Hisham El Khoury, the Head of Higher Education at the Education Technology Union in Lebanon, and Mr. Shadi Maasarani, the Head of Vocational Education and Integration of Persons with Disabilities within the Union.From the Global Organization of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh (TAG Global), the honor ceremony was attended by Dr. Salah Abu Asbeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors,Dr. Marwan Abu Sahyoun Executive Directorand Professor Burhan Al-Ashkar, Executive Director of Culture and Media.Merhabi:On behalf of the Association, Mrs. Noura Ali Merhabi expressed her joy to welcome Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh to the northern capital, Tripoli, on the occasion of the opening of the third Knowledge Station at the Lebanese University, Tripoli Branch, and wished that the ship carrying His Excellency the Doctor to Lebanon would land in the port of Tripoli instead of the shore of Ghaziyeh, for the sincerity, belonging and loyalty that she had shown in the character of the Doctor to the city that embraced him in the south, a Palestinian refugee in Ghaziyeh, and she wished that this Arab-Lebanese personality grew up in the city of Tripoli, because this city needs people like him and his actions, however, his generous hands extended to all of Lebanon, and today it was Tripoli, Al-Fayhaa. Mrs. Noura Merhabi also confirmed that the opening of the Knowledge Station is only a first step in the development process of the city of Tripoli, in terms of knowledge and education, and will be followed by cooperation with the Association to enshrine a specialized community partnership with the public and private sectors in the field of technological development and digital economy.Abu-Ghazaleh:Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh thanked those responsible for the presentation of honors, considering that what he offers is his duty to the sons of his second country, Lebanon, whom he loves and trusts in the ability of his youth to overcome all adversities and challenges through continuous education, and believes that innovation is the way to salvation for any problem, and that the Knowledge Station is a specialized station to provide science and technical skills that will have a positive impact on the country and its sons who deserve every offer.Finally, the Association presented Dr. Abu Ghazaleh with an honorary trophy in honor of his pioneering contributions and actions.
