Allianz Lebanon celebrates a new milestone in the Company’s history

احتفلت أليانز لبنان بإنجاز جديد في تاريخ الشركة. وبهذه المناسبة، عُقد مؤتمر صحفي في مقر الشركة في الحازمية، بحضور ممثلي وسائل الإعلام، واعضاء مجلس الإدارة واعضاء اللجنة الإدارية وكبار ممثلي أليانز لبنان، وتخلل الحفل مناقشة المواضيع التالية:

– كيف تتخطّى الشركة الأزمة المالية.

–  الحلول التأمينية الجديدة لتلبية احتياجات الزبائن.

–  تقرير وضع مطالبات انفجار مرفأ بيروت،

–  العلامة التجارية الجديدة لأليانز لبنان التي تبعث روحية إيجابية وثقة بالغد.

افتتح الحفل بكلمة السيد كريستوفر تاونسند Member of the Allianz SE Board of Management and responsible for Global Insurance Lines & Anglo Markets, Reinsurance, Middle East and Africa) أكّد فيها على التزام مجموعة أليانز تجاه المنطقة ولبنان: “نحن ملتزمون تجاه البلد ودعمنا شركتنا في لبنان لتخطّي الازمة الاقتصادية”.

رحبّ السيد أنطوان عيسى رئيس مجلس الإدارة الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Allianz الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا في لبنان بالمدعوين وعرض تاريخ وانجازات الشركة وأعلن بفخر أن: “اليوم وبعد 57 سنة، أصبح اسم شركتنا “أليانز” وهي العلامة التجارية الأولى لشركات التأمين والشركة الرائدة عالميا” بتقديم الخدمات المالية”.

كما أكدّ أهمية دعم مجموعة أليانز لتخطّي التحديات المستجدة في لبنان فشركة أليانز لبنان هي أول شركة تعيد الرسملة، وأول شركة تطلق حلول مبتكرة تتكيّف مع الوضع الراهن وأول شركة تدفع مطالبات انفجار مرفأ بيروت دون انتظار نتيجة التحقيق الرسمي.

عرض السيد باسم عاصي، المدير العام لشركة أليانز لبنان على الحاضرين الإجراءات التفصيلية التي اتخذتها الشركة بدءًا بإطلاق حلول مبتكرة تلبّي احتياجات الزبائن في ظروف اقتصادية متقلّبة، وبتسديد 97٪ من اجمالي الحوادث الناتجة عن انفجار مرفأ بيروت التي تشكل 1500 مطالبة والتي آسفر عنها تصنيف الزبائن لشركة أليانز لبنان كـ Loyalty Leader في فروع الحياة وغير الحياة.

أخيرًا، قدم السيد هنري عبجي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة Obegi وحفيد مؤسس شركة SNA الراحل جان شدياق، نظرته حول التطورات الأخيرة للشركة. وأكد أنه “لو كان جان شدياق معنا اليوم، لكان فخورًا بأن يشهد على ما أصبحت عليهSNA  اليوم – وأن يرى أن SNA التي أصبحت الآن أليانز لبنان، تواصل مسيرتها الرائدة بكل احتراف ومناقبية وشجاعة”.

Allianz Lebanon celebrates a new milestone in the Company’s history. On this occasion, a press conference was held in their headquarters in Hazmieh, in the presence of the media representatives, the Board of Directors, the Management and the senior partners of Allianz Lebanon during which the following topics were discussed:

–              How the Company is overcoming the financial crisis;

–              The new insurance solutions offered to customers;

–              The status of Beirut Port Explosion claims,

–              The new brand of Allianz Lebanon showing a positive spirit and confidence in tomorrow.

The ceremony started with a message from Mr. Christopher Townsend (Member of the Allianz SE Board of Management and responsible for Global Insurance Lines & Anglo Markets, Reinsurance, Middle East and Africa) who confirmed the commitment of the Allianz group to the region and to Lebanon: “We are committed to the country and have supported our operating entity to recover”.

Mr. Antoine Issa Chairman and MENA CEO of Allianz in Lebanon welcomed the invitees and went through the Company’s history and proudly announced that: “Today after 57 years, our name becomes Allianz, the No.1 insurance brand worldwide and the leading global financial services provider”.

He also confirmed the importance of having the back up of Allianz Group to overcome the recent challenges in Lebanon by being the first Company to recapitalize, to launch new adapted solutions and the first Company to pay the Beirut Port Explosion claims without waiting for the outcome of the investigation.

Mr. Bassem Assi, General Manager of Allianz Lebanon, shared with the attendees the detailed actions taken by the Company starting with the launching of new solutions addressing the clients’ needs in a volatile economic environment, the settlement of 97% of the Company’s Beirut Port Explosion Claims representing 1500 claims and resulting to the clients ranking Allianz Lebanon as Loyalty Leader in Life and Non Life.

Finally, Mr. Henry Obegi, Obegi group CEO and grandson of Late Jean Chidiac founder of SNA, provided his external view on the Company’s latest development. He affirmed that “If Jean was with us today, he would have been proud to see what SNA has become – and to see that SNA, now Allianz Lebanon, continues to lead with professionalism, ethics and courage.”
