الحكومة في قبرص تتبرّع بمليون يورو من خلال الـUNICEF لصالح جمعيّة ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond
أتى هذا التبرّع للمساهمة في إعادة تأهيل مستشفى الكرنتينا

Funding to contribute to the rehabilitation of the Quarantina hospital
زاروزير خارجيّة قبرص السيّد نيكوس كريستودوليدس، يرافقه وفد من سفارة قبرص في لبنان يترأسه السفير بانايوتيس كرياكو ومن اليونيسف، جمعيّة ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond في مستشفى بيروت الحكوميّ في منطقة الكرنتينا.
في أعقاب إنفجار 4 آب المدمّر، تهدّم مستشفى بيروت الحكوميّ بشكل هائل، حاله حال مدينة بيروت بأكملها. في خضمّ مواجهة الدمار، كانت حكومة قبرص من بين أوّل الجهات التي دعمتنا من خلال التبرّع بمبلغ مليون يورو للقيام بأعمال إعادة تأهيل مبنى مستشفى الكارنتينا الجديد من خلال منظّمة اليونيسف.
سوف يساهم التبرّع السخيّ لحكومة قبرص في تمويل عمليّة إعادة تأهيل مرفق “الأم والطفل” الطبي في المستشفى، والذي من المقرّر افتتاحه في كانون الثاني 2022.
سيضمن هذا المرفق حصول الأمهات والأطفال الضعفاء على رعاية جيدة في المراحل الأكثر خطورة من حياتهم.
خلال الزيارة، جال الوفد على المركز حيث عاين التقدّم الذي نفّذته اليونيسف حتى الآن في بناء المستشفى الجديد وقد تمكّن أيضاً من رؤية الأعمال التي تقوم بها جمعية ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond عن كثب.
في ظل التحديات الهائلة التي يواجهها المستشفى، بسبب الأزمة المالية في لبنان ، عرضت ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond على الوزير كريستودوليدس والوفد المرافق، الاستراتيجيات الفورية والمتوسطة المدى التي وضعتها منذ آب 2021. ويبقى الهاجس والهدف الرئيسي والدائم لجمعيّة ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond هو ضمان استمرارية تقديم خدمات طبية عالية المستوى للمرضى في مستشفى بيروت الحكومي في كارنتينا.

Funding to contribute to the rehabilitation of the Quarantina hospital
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr.Nikos Christodoulides, accompanied by delegations from the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus head by Ambassador Panayiotis Kyriacou and UNICEF visited ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond at the Beirut Governmental Hospital in Quarantina ollowing the August 4 deadly blast, much like the entire city of Beirut, the hospital was destroyed. Amidst the face of the destruction, the Government of Cyprus were among the first to support with a one million Euro funding to support the rehabilitation work of the new Quarantina Hospital buildingthrough UNICEF
The generous funding by the Government of Cyprus will contribute to the rehabilitation of the “Mother and Child” medical facility at the Hospital, which is due to be inaugurated in January 2022. The facility will ensure access to vulnerable mothers and children to quality care at the most critical stages of their life
During their visit, the delegation reviewed the construction progress of the new hospital implemented by UNICEF and gained first-hand insight of the work being delivered by ASSAMEH-Birth &Beyond
With the vast challenges the Hospital is faced with, due to the financial crisis Lebanon, ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond sharedwith Minister Christodoulides and his delegation the immediate mid-term strategies that have been set in August 2021. The main aim of ASSAMEH – Birth & Beyond is to ensure the continuity of providing patients with high-level medical services at the Beirut Governmental Hospital in Quarantina
